Julie Joplin is proud to be partnering with National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) Pro-Choice Missouri to make Joplin a stop on the organization’s reproductive freedom listening tour.
According to their website:
“Every person has the right to decide if, when, how, and with whom to start or grow a family. Reproductive freedom ensures access to not only contraception and abortion, but the full spectrum of health care options: family planning, sex education, emergency contraception, and medically accurate information.”
That’s why NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri is traveling all over the state talking to people about their thoughts, experiences, and expectations surrounding issues like abortion, STI and STD treatment, sex education, and more. NARAL has had round table discussions, which are free and open to the public, in Springfield, Columbia, Cape Girardeau, Rolla, Kansas City, and St. Louis.
NARAL will be in Joplin this Saturday, so don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard on reproductive issues that matter to you. Share your thoughts with an organization that is fighting for reproductive justice in Jefferson City and beyond. NARAL endorses and helps elect Pro-Choice candidates, makes sure that state and local leaders hear from Pro-Choice constituents, works with progressive allies to advance legislation to expand and protect reproductive freedom, and works to prevent anti-choice and regressive policies from being enacted.
Whether you want to share, listen, or simply connect with like-minded individuals, this event is open to you.
When: Saturday, February 29th at 10 a.m.
Where: Joplin Public Library, 1901 E. 20th St.
